Dear Prayer Partners and Supporters,

Thank you for your faithful prayers for our ministry and our family. September was probably one of the busiest months this year due to visitors and ministry. We had our church conference in the first part of September, and we had a great turnout and a great time of fellowship. Our theme was the Armor of God from Ephesians 6. We broke the day up into segments with different pieces of armor being taught and various activities. It was fun to watch them get involved, and at lunchtime we had a traditional Zambian meal and just sat together and fellowshipped. The goal was not only the Bible training, but also to create unity in the church itself.

My brother and his friend came and visited me for about three months, so we got to spend a lot of time together, which was great. They helped in various children’s ministries in the church, which was also a blessing. Also, my dad and brother-in-law came, and we took a trip together to Lake Tanganyika for the pastors’ training. The trip was a great success, and we enjoyed the time of fellowship and deeper study. The plane was at full capacity when we flew up there, which made it fun for our pilot, but God allowed us to travel safely. While at the lake, we had a new group of men attend from about six hours away by boat ride. They are desiring more  Bible training and asked that we expand some training into their region as well. Pray for us as we look into the logistics regarding that. It would mean more trips up there and flying into a different area, but we hope that God will make this possible. The need for continuing training and schooling across Zambia is huge, as many of these men are struggling to find solid preaching for encouragement. This time of training is essential to their spiritual walk as they pastor their churches and guide their congregations.

Our other church ministries, such as youth ministry and ladies ministry, are continuing to do well, and we have seen the attendance going up in these, especially with the change in the weather. We are looking forward to seeing how God will continue to grow these ministries over the coming years. We have seen the attendance at church continue to go up, which is exciting. We are praying that this will continue to be consistent and that their spiritual growth will continue as well.

Pray for us as we are now in the process of finding church leaders and identifying men in the ministry that are truly called to the service of the Lord. God has given us some very good people, and we are thankful for them. Pray for their spiritual lives that God will protect them from the cares of this world and the attacks of the Deceiver.

October found us mostly in a place of transition. We are coming back to the US on the first of November for furlough, and at the same time had to move out of the house that we have rented for the past five years. That part was hard, as it has really become our home, our kids’ home as well. Thankfully, the Lord has provided a home for us when we get back that will be cheaper to rent and, honestly, a better location and closer to church. We had to put most of our stuff in storage for the meantime, but we will be able to move right in when we get back.

Pray for our upcoming furlough and all the traveling and doctor’s appointments that we will have in the coming months. We look forward to seeing many of you all and presenting what God has done here in Zambia. Pray for the church in our absence which we are leaving in our fellow missionary’s hands. We know God will keep and preserve the church, and we pray for continued growth of the members.

Serving together with you - Caleb, Abby, Rosalie, Oliver, Henry, and Isabelle Robinson
