Dear Prayer Partners and Supporters,
It is hard to believe that the end of the year is already here, and it is amazing how fast 2025 has flown by. We have had an eventful year, and many challenges and triumphs in the ministry and in our personal life; but we have seen God provide miraculously over and over again, and we are thankful to God for all he has done.
The month of November and December was busy in ministry, although it is a challenge with the weather change and holidays for many here. In November, we had our normal church schedule, and those services went well. Church attendance has been consistent, and we have had several new visitors that we are meeting with. December has been busy for ministry, as we have been having various Christmas programs at the church and outreach into the community. Although the warm weather maybe doesn’t feel like Christmas, it was nice to do some different traditions here to make the holiday season go by well.
At the beginning of December, we had a ladies Christmas party which has grown into quite the event. We had about 110 women and children who came, and we usually have many ladies come from a variety of backgrounds that we have the opportunity to preach the gospel to. My wife and the ladies in the church worked hard and put all the decorations and program together. Pray for those that came and heard the gospel, that God will work in their hearts and lives. We had a mens prayer breakfast the next week, which was a great time of fellowship, and we enjoyed eating and praying for the need of people in the church and the community.
We also had a December kids Christmas party which went well. We did the program after the morning service, and there was a good turnout. We provided lunch and had some games and crafts and then practiced for the Christmas play. The Christmas play, which we did on the Sunday before Christmas, provided a great turnout. The kids did the whole thing and were led by a young couple in our church. It was exciting to see the kids who memorized their lines and did a great job in delivery. I was then able to preach a message about the shepherds and the reason for Christ’s birth and eventual sacrifice.
We then went to Kanyama on Christmas Eve and had a great service there as well as a time of caroling in the market next to the church. This was the first time for many of these people to even do something like it, and I don’t think most of the people had ever seen caroling . . . but it was a great time of fellowship. The Sunday after Christmas was low, but it usually is. Many people here travel or leave the city during this time, so it is usually a slower time in ministry.
Praise the Lord we finally got an answer on the health issues Abby has been dealing with. She has started the proper regimen for treatment, and we hope she will get favorable results. She has had several recurring bouts of typhoid, which was actually being caused by something bigger, but the answer is proper treatment.
Please be in prayer for upcoming ministry opportunities this year. We will have more expenses in the new pastors trainings, but it is necessary for the future of ministry in Zambia. If you would like to give specifically towards that, please designate it as “Pastor’s Training.” I am trying to set that aside to be better equipped and ready for this opportunity over the coming year.
Thank you for your support and prayers. We are doing well and God has blessed. We thank the Lord for our children’s health and for our family’s safety. Please be in prayer for the ministry and the church.
Serving together with you - Caleb, Abby, Rosalie, Oliver, Henry, and Isabelle Robinson
